The LOUIS XIII Magnum represents the lifetime achievement of generations of Cellar Masters, all thinking a century ahead to create the final blend of finest eaux-de-vie from Grande Champagne grapes.
The cognac inside a LOUIS XIII Magnum decanter contains a blend of the most precious eaux-de-vie from the Grande Champagne AOC, renowned for its exceptional terroir. Provenance is experienced in every drop. As is the knowledge and expertise of every LOUIS XIII Cellar Master, passed down from one generation to the next. Since 1874, our Cellar Masters have selected the finest eaux-de-vie, aged in century-old oak casks, and blend them to retain the signature taste of LOUIS XIII cognac throughout time.
Our LOUIS XIII Magnum decanter is a large, individually numbered decanter containing 1.5l of LOUIS XIII cognac. No two decanters are the same, as each one is hand-crafted by skilled crystal artisans. The famous design, with its distinctive curves and fleur-de-lys motif, takes inspiration from a 16th-century flask found on the French battlesite of Jarnac. The founder Paul Emile Rémy Martin acquired it and its design became the foundation for the iconic LOUIS XIII decanters known today, with their 20ct gold necks and distinctive dentelle spikes.

When serving your cognac, use your LOUIS XIII Spear (otherwise known as a pipette) to extract the amber liquid drop by drop, just as our Cellar Master would. Serve LOUIS XIII cognac at room temperature in the accompanying exclusive LOUIS XIII glasses, specially designed to enhance every nuance of LOUIS XIII cognac.
Allow the cognac to rest in the glass for a few moments as you take in its complex aromas. First from afar, then close to the nose. Place a drop of LOUIS XIII cognac on your lips, allowing it to slowly ignite your palate, then take your time to enjoy, one sip at a time.
